1927 Montreal slogan “Air Flight Montreal Vancouver July 1927” ties 5c McGee(2) on 2c postal stationery to Vancouver, purple “Air Flight Abandoned Letter Returned” hs and sent to DLO bs (JUL 19).

This is the third government flight with 500 covers prepared but the pilot Edwin Dobbin could not get insurance and the covers were sent to the Dead Letter Office. (Ref: AAMC, page 93).
