1944 10c “not as airmail” to Australia with #257 10c Parliament tied by Milverton, Ontario duplex to Subico, Western Australia.
Peculiar “not as airmail” perhaps applied by sender who used an airmail envelope but didn’t want to incur postage due by not paying the full airmail rate which was interrupted due to the war.
This may have been carried on the Horseshoe route, by steamer to South Africa, then air to Cairo, Celyon and Western Australia.
