1879 Winnipeg, Man Canada (SP 4 79) 1.5mm arc free strike on cover with #37 3c Small Queen tied by cork cancel, to Mount Stewart, PEI.

Cover trimmed at right. Reverse with Charlottetown (SP 11).

This is an early use of the Winnipeg Man Canada. The earliest recorded date is Aug 18, 1879, so this is just a few weeks later. The latest date is MR 27, 1880 so this hammer was used for a very short period of time.
