The cover shown to the right was found in a consignment. It is an ordinary looking 5¢ Beaver cover. They sell for about $10 each.

Well, you were very smart to ask advice. Bill found this cover in a consignment and realized it was July 1, 1859 which is the first day of issue for the stamp. The owner was shocked and much richer, benefiting from our careful lotting and knowledge.
